To Avoid Separation of 6 Siblings, Michigan Couple Adopted All of Them


Shannon and Gabrielle Fessenden adopt three siblings first and then later go for their three more siblings, too.

A couple from Michigan claims that their house is topped up from chaos and love posterior they adopted 6 siblings as their own.

In spite of being parents to 2 children, the couple adopted 6 more since they wished so for a long time.

While looking for children up for adoption through the Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange, Gabrielle found photographs of three siblings, namely Myah, Jay, and Jordan. These kids were to be separated if they could not find a home in the near future.

Upon understanding the situation, the Fessendens rapidly took the initiative of welcoming these children into their home in the month of November in 2012. A year later, they adopted them.

By the month of May, in 2014, the biological mother of these children gave birth to another child, Jericho, who is now 5 years old. The couple adopted him in December of the same year.

The mother of these kids had come from an environment that was unstable. Hence, her rights as a biological parent were dismissed.

A year after Jericho’s birth, his sister, Briella, now 4, was born. Shannon and Gabrielle, in December 2015, took her for adoption.

A couple of years following Briella’s birth, Mason was born with various birth defects, one of them being fetal alcohol syndrome.

The couple heartily welcomed the child to their family and finalized his adoption in June.

The new additions in the family have fit flawlessly into the lives of the couple along with their biological children, Giana, 8, and Scott, 11.

Gabrielle jokingly exclaims that their family’s label is inspired by the phrase that there is never a dull moment.
