As the new bill was announced in Britain by the queen, as a part of the bill she said that all the waiters working in restaurants, hotels, and pubs, including other workers will be liable to receive 100% of their tips and the employers will have no right to keep the tip money.
The new bill passed will put employers in strictness to give away all the tips they have received to the workers at the hotels, restaurants, and pubs implemented in Wales, England, and Scotland.
During the State Opening of the Parliament, sitting on her throne that shone brightly in golden, Queen Elizabeth announced that her government will take all the required steps so that the hard workers can receive what belongs to them and what they truly deserve.
Right now, the companies are the freedom to work on their own wish. This means that they are not bound to pay anything to their staff from the service charge; they may or may not give it to the staff.
The new law passed will make the practice illegal. This means that the company will be forced to pay the service charge to the staff and if they not then the government will be legally allowed to take action against the company.
This also means that the business would have to maintain a transparent relationship with the customers and the staff.
In a survey taken, about 85% said that they believed that the tip left behind is for the staff and not for the restaurant owner who is comfortably sitting in his office while the staff is rushing around the customers to provide the best service they can.
The prime minister then said on Instagram that the restraints found not following the law will be banned and will be shut down in no time.
