People always have different opinions about things, places, and animals.
An interesting event recently circulated on the internet of a guy who never loved dogs before in his life.
Bobby Humphreys is a guy from Maryland, became a dog lover after a sequence of events was observed in his life. Humphreys is a bodybuilder, who used to spend his time in the gym.
Although his family had a tradition of living with dogs, he used to make fun of tiny dogs. He claimed himself to be a “Big Dog Guy”. According to Humphreys, “Rottweilers were my companions, guardians, 120-pound lapdogs.”
He was such a guy who used to make fun of his friends having tiny dogs, and that is what he regrets now.
“Looking back, that was very immature of me.” Humphreys’ perspective about tiny dogs entirely changed when his wife left him and after a few days, he got shoulder injury in the gym. Being alone in that situation, was a real struggle for him, as he started feeling more and more depressed.
Humphreys was trying hard to get his life in order, and his friend Constance Rogers turned up with a surprise request, “Do you mind if Lady stays with you for a little while?” Humphreys agreed with his friend and started taking care of her dog.
One day, he came home from work and stumbled upon Lady peering out of her kennel, strategically placed in front of the TV.
When Connie came over to check on Lady, she was totally amazed as Lady was in Bobby’s lap. According to Bobby, Lady not only transformed his opinion but also his life.
“She gave me my self-respect and dignity back.” Humphreys knew very well that Lady could not stay with him forever, so he started looking for his own lady. Finally, he found Kira, 1-year-old Chihuahua, and then this process never stopped.
He started taking those dogs that nobody else wants; he possesses them and shows them how special they are. Bobby is determined to give love to every dog.
He told, “Once I’ve earned the dogs respect and bonded with the dog, I am obligated to them to make sure the only way they leave me is if they found somebody they like even more.”
