While some dogs seem incredibly adorable and squeezable, there are also those who can appear downright terrifying.
And as the dog in this story proves, one doesn’t even have to be big to show their scary teeth and act as the alpha of the family!
A tiny yet feisty Pomeranian pooch was pictured showing her owners who the boss is by growling and showing her teeth when they touched or tried to take away her beloved coconut.
The fluffy dog from Bangkok, Thailand, was enjoying her favorite fruit on the family table when the owners started teasing her.
The pooch retaliated by showing her teeth and aggressively letting them know that she’s not willing to let go of her coconut.
According to the owners, their pooch is very territorial and kept on jumping towards them and barking in an attempt to prevent them from reaching her food. She also kept one eye on them while drinking from the coconut, unsure whether she can trust them or not.
While many people found the pooch to be fun and amusing, not everyone was convinced that either the owners or the dog are doing the right thing.
“Nope. Nothing funny here. Dogs are wonderful creatures. But it’s vital that they see you as pack leader, including socializing them with small children & other dogs from a very early age.
“Get that right & you have a fantastic companion for their lifetime. Get it wrong & people or other pets WILL get hurt. The dogs get put down, when daft owners are to blame,” one person wrote.
“This is the problem with people that have these tiny little dogs who have them up on their knees, all over the furniture and on their eye level. They think they are King of the house!” another one said.
One commenter suggested that small dogs have attitude problems but agreed that he would also feel annoyed by such owners: “Can’t stand these dogs or any small dogs, they often have exceptionally bad attitudes. Then again I would also be mad if someone kept sticking a camera in my face when I was trying to eat.”
