TIME magazine’s new cover featuring President Biden of the US is getting blasted for morphing his image in a manner that makes him appear young and cool, right before his big showdown with Russia’s President Putin.

The magazine was widely mocked, right after the unveiling of its recent cover image on Friday. The move is being termed as a strategic plot, right ahead of the major summit that is expected to occur between President Biden of the US and Russia’s President Putin.

Moreover, the magazine’s cover has been accused of making the US president appear hip and cool, not to mention his big black aviator sunglasses.point 241 |

While the magazine did believe it was a flattering attempt to make Biden appear cool, many linked it to a drawing as the real president is incredibly elderly and weak, when taking a real high-resolution HD image into consideration.

Meanwhile, the picture comprises of Biden in his typical signature black aviator shades. This is accompanied along with the headline, ‘Taking on Putin.’

Other critics claim the move was very controversial as the magazine did the exact opposite when Trump met with Putin. Moreover, at that time, unappealing illustrations of Trump were the norm, portraying the former president in a more negative light.
