Forty-two-year-old, thirty-year-old men have been arrested after 3 young women discovered hidden tablets in their takeaway kebabs.
The women, all in their twenties found several pills in their food while they were going back to their homes after a night out.
The girls had purchased the kebabs in the early hours on a Sunday from Istanbul Grill, in Bognor Regis, West Sussex. Then, they quickly reported the appalling discovery to the police.
Two local men have been arrested so gad on suspicion or giving poison with the intention to cause grievous bodily harm.
According to an online post, one of the three women was eating kebab with the form when she discovered two of the pills.
She then spat out her food chunk and found another one. The victim said that they had bought a kebab from the Instanbul Grill, Bognor.
The woman said that when they got home, her friend was eating the kebab and found one blue capsule in it.
She added that because her friend was eating with a fork, she, fortunately, found the pill.
On opening the capsule, the women saw four small white pills inside. Her friend was eating the kebab with a weird taste in her mouth.
Then when she saw a larger white tablet, she spat out her food. Then, they called the police to give statements.
The police sought to assure the public regarding safety. They said that they have taken prompt action which resulted in the arrest of 2 people, who are working partners.
They added that since the investigation is on the initial stage, the motive of those involved is not fully understood.
