Thomas Jefferson Will No Longer Be A Part Of The City Hall! Memorable Statue Removed After Almost 2 Centuries


The iconic statue of the nation’s third president is removed from the City Hall because he owned 600 slaves even after claiming that all men are created equal.

An 884-pound statue of the great president has been eradicated from the City Hall with the help of several Art Handlers recently. It was kept in a wooden craft and was surrounded by sections of foam. The painted plaster monument was removed after dozens of experts worked for hours in removing it from its pedestal in the City Council Chamber.
