If you were not a fan of true crime until now, then it is the right time to develop an interest in the genre.
Watching how the murderers’ minds work could be frightening but if you are getting cash for it, you may simply do it.
Yes, there is a catch. You have to watch the content of an entire day (24 hours) in only two days. You might think that is simply a cakewalk. But it is not.
Magellan TV is a streamer that shows documentaries exclusively and is hosting a competition for fans. The winner would get $1000 if they are able to watch 24 hours of the true-crime documentaries.
The selected participant would get a free membership for one year to the service and 3 three-month memberships for their family and friends.
But they will have to watch 24 hours of content in only 48 hours, documenting what they are watching on their social media. Even the true crime documentaries for this challenge have been chosen.
It would include 16 shows that look into famous criminals, such as Manson 40 Years Later and Manson’s Missing Victims.
The lineup has other kinds of crime too, such as Undercover Asia, which looks into dark worlds of secret slave trades, organ markets, and similar topics.
From shorter features, such as the 44-minutes Tortured to Death and absolute marathon like Behind Bars that is a 288 minute long, the lineup has it all.
You can fill up the application on the platform’s website if you think this is something you are interested in and would not be too traumatized. The only requirements are that you should be U.S.A. based adult and agree to write a small essay.
You would also have to answer some questions and may even submit a video. You will also have to include your social media handles and document your All-Night Crime Watch.
