A very happy, smiling, and relieved Kyle Rittenhouse has finally given his first interview after being acquitted from all his charges recently.

Rittenhouse spoke confidently during the explosive interview, adding how he’s made it through the hard part. This is the first time ever that the teen accused of killing two men and wounding another in Kenosha was seen in public after being termed not guilty for his charges related to homicide and a number of others.

“Self-defense is NOT illegal, explained Rittenhouse. The jury managed to reach the correct verdict in the end,” he explained.

Pictured smiling from the backseat of his vehicle yesterday, many could feel his sense of pride and relief for coming out free from the high-profile trial that left Americans watching every move that took place inside the courtroom.

The interview was conducted by Fox News’s program called ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight,” where viewers got a glimpse of a short clip that aired on Friday night.

“I strongly believe that they reached the right verdict in the end,” he went on to explain. “I am just so glad that everything went well,” he added.

“It’s been a really rough journey for me but we made it in the end. We made it through the hard part,” he again reiterated.

It came just moments after the jury declared him clear from the charges of homicide, attempted homicide, as well as reckless endangerment in the deaths of 36-year-old Joseph Rosenbaum and 26-year-old Anthony Huber while wounding 27-year-old Gaige Grosskreutz during the shootings in Kenosha on August 25th of 2020.
