Chrissy Teigen hopes that Oprah Winfrey can help her save her reputation amid her growing cyber-bullying controversy.

While the wife of John Legend is ‘being advised to go into hiding and lay low,’ sources told Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice podcast that she is planning to have an interview with Oprah.

“Chrissy is in talks with Oprah to do a Meghan Markle sit-down type interview and tell her truth,” a source said.

“Chrissy is a fighter and believes that she is such an excellent communicator that there isn’t a mess she can’t talk her way out of!” the source continued.

“Every news outlet in the world has contacted Chrissy about getting her first on-camera interview, but Oprah is her first choice. If Oprah can forgive Chrissy, then so can the nation.”

More controversy emerged after Project Runway’s Michael Costello revealed that he had suicidal thoughts after experiencing bullying from Teigen.

Teigen recently wrote a lengthy post to apologize for her past behavior, admitting she was a ‘troll’ and an ‘a**hole’ but she insisted that she is ‘no longer than person.’

“Not a day, not a single moment has passed where I haven’t felt the crushing weight of regret for the things I’ve said in the past,” she wrote. “As you know, a bunch of my old awful (awful, awful) tweets resurfaced. I’m truly ashamed of them. As I look at them and understand the hurt they caused, I have to stop and wonder: How could I have done that?”

Teigen continued: “I’ve apologized publicly to one person, but there are others – and more than just a few – who I need to say I’m sorry to. I’m in the process of privately reaching out to the people I insulted.

“It’s like my own version of that show My Name is Earl! I understand that they may not want to speak to me. I don’t think I’d like to speak to me. (The real truth in all of this is how much I actually cannot take confrontation.) But if they do, I am here and I will listen to what they have to say, while apologizing through sobs.”

It was in 2011 when Teigen posted a barrage of tweets telling Stodden, who was 16 at that time, to ‘go to sleep forever.’

Stodden also revealed that Teigen would ‘privately DM me and tell me to kill myself.’

More old tweets have resurfaced in which she described Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham a ‘wh***’ and called 9-year-old Oscar nominee Wallis ‘cocky.’

In another tweet, Teigen wrote about Lindsay Lohan: “Lindsay adds a few more slits to her wrists when she sees emma stone.”
