A teenage girl named Haley claimed that she was nine months pregnant with the baby Jesus and that she was going to give birth to him in only a few more days.
Her mother, understandably, called her a liar. And of course, such a claim either comes from delusion or as a cover-up for something else.
Wanting to give her the help that she needed, Haley was invited as a guest in The Dr. Phil Show. Dr. Phil is a well-known TV personality and psychologist who seeks to enlighten audiences about various mental health issues and how they can be addressed through compassionate treatments.
In this case, Haley’s belly area was indeed big so while the idea of her being pregnant with another incarnation of Jesus was preposterous, the possibility that she was actually pregnant couldn’t be discounted out of hand. Fortunately, there was an easy way to settle the question and that was through the use of ultrasound.
Dr. Phil enlisted the help of Dr. Travis Stork who is an ER physician and also host of the Emmy award-winning show The Doctors. Dr. Phil asked for assistance from them because the set of The Doctors is already set up with examination rooms along with the technicians to operate the equipment.
