14-Year-Old Girl Will Serve SEVEN Years For Taking The Life Of A 66-Year-Old UberEats Driver


A 14-year-old girl will serve seven years in a youth detention facility after she pleaded guilty to murdering a 66-year-old UberEats driver.

The teen and another girl aged 15 attempted to steal Mohammad Anwar’s vehicle using a Taser on March 23.

The helpless man clung onto a side door before his car crashed into a fence, crushing his body between the door and the barrier before the car tipped on its side.

The 14-year-old would be locked up until she turned 21 years old, said Washington DC juvenile court judge Lynn Leibovitz. Her accomplice was also sentenced to confinement until she turned 21.

According to prosecutors, the younger girl, who was 13 at the time of the incident, showed no remorse and whispered to herself when she thought no one could hear: “If you gave me my f*****g phone, the jacks would have still been alive, but no, you want to put my damn phone in your pocket.”

The teen has been found responsible in two other cases and will be sentenced again later this month.

According to reports, the girls attacked the victim while he was working near Nationals Park in Springfield, Virginia on March 23.

The teens got into his vehicle after he kindly agreed to give them a lift. But the girls suddenly used a taser in an attempt to steal Anwar’s car.

“They’re thieves,” Anwar can be heard saying in the 90-second video. “This is my car!”

Prosecutor Baki Baruwa said the victim’s pleas for help were ignored after the older teen told witnesses that the vehicle belonged to her mom.

The car smashed into a metal fence, crushing Anwar between the car door and the barrier. He was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, including broken bones and head trauma.

“Anwar was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend who always provided a smile when you needed one,” his family said.

“Words cannot describe how our family is feeling currently. Devastation, confusion, shock, anger, heartache, and anguish are just a few that come to mind.”
