Like all other girls before prom, Adrianna Rust also dreamed about wearing the perfect dress.
But when she found one, the hefty price left her with a frowning face.
That’s when her prom date and best friend Parker Smith wore his fairy godmother wings to prepare the perfect Cinderella gown for Adrianna.
Addi’s Cinderella tale started when she was searching for the right dress but what she liked was outrageously expensive.
She jokingly said to her best friend at that time: “Parker, why don’t you just make my prom dress!”
Parker Smith then realized that even though he had never sewn anything before, he could make the Cinderella dress for Adrianna for the special occasion.
He first made a sketch for the dress then taught himself how to sew. “I’m such a perfectionist that I was up adding more stones to the dress even the night before prom,” he shared, adding that his grandmother also helped him and he had to redo some parts many times.
Parker shared their beautiful photos and wrote: “Quite a journey, but the first thing I’ve ever sewn (a prom dress) has been finished, just in time for the ball! Not only did I get the honor of being the Prince Charming to the beautiful @AddiRust, but her fairy godmother as well, haha! I’m so thankful for her. (From scratch).”

A third added: “LOVE this! I too had sticker shock when looking for my fairytale dress (had to pay for my own dress). Alas, I had to settle with something I could afford and definitely did NOT feel magical in the least. Parker, thank you for making Adrianna a princess!”
