Doctors said that if the teen survived, he would likely never walk or talk again.

But in 21 months after the accident, Jackson can walk on his own again and most recently, said his first two words.

Jackson’s family shared the video on his Facebook page, announcing the moment the teen spoke.

Jackson then tried a second word, again using his pointer finger to help him say “shh.” The second word became “shoe.”
