No one is being spared from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

Even the people who don’t get infected are experiencing lockdowns, disruptions in their daily routines, and even a loss of income because of all the closures as social distancing is enforced.

With schools shutting down across the country in order to help curb the spread of the coronavirus, teachers all over America have had to think up new and creative ways to keep teaching their students through remote-learning platforms. While the educational process continues, it still presents challenges to the teachers who need to make sure their students remain engaged and understand the lessons.

Reese Witherspoon recognizes these challenges which are why she wants to do her part to help perk up these teachers who are training the potential future doctors, nurses, and other critical roles, that are needed to rise up from this crisis.

That is why Witherspoon’s fashion line Draper James came up with the “Draper James ❤️ Teachers” initiative, a way to show gratitude to the educators for all the hard work they are doing. The fashion line is doing this in the form of a complimentary dress.

“These past few weeks have shown me so much about humanity. I’m an eternal optimist, so I always look for the bright side of things,” said Witherspoon in a press release. “And I have been so encouraged by the ways people are really showing up for each other. Particularly the teachers.”
