Teacher Suspended After Calling Students ‘Fu**ing Ni**ers’ In Front Of Camera


A middle school teacher has been placed on administrative leave after calling a group of black students “fu*king nigg**s” in front of a camera.

During the confrontation with several students, Wendy Brilowski of Highland Park Middle School was heard shouting: “I just walk around the room… just pick on them. They’re black. And they’re the only f*****g n*****s doing any work.”

While it’s not clear who exactly the teacher was talking to, the incident which was caught on camera by a student and later shared on Facebook enraged the parents from around the nation.

According to the responsible school district, the teacher has been suspended pending an investigation. While the teacher claimed she was merely repeating the words a student spoke before her, the stunned students disagree.

“No matter the situation, the racist and foul language used by a staff member in the video has no place in St. Paul Public Schools,” the superintendent said after the footage went viral.

“We will work to understand what happened and take immediate, aggressive action to address this situation.

“Following this incident, we have a lot of work to do to repair harm and rebuild trust with our students and our community. We take that responsibility seriously.

“We offer a sincere apology for the actions that took place in our building on Wednesday.”

The incident follows days after three teachers and a principal have been suspended for grinning while posing with a noose at their school.

The picture was initially posted online by the principal of Palmdale’s Summerwind Elementary School, Linda Brandt. From there, the controversial photo quickly spread over the internet and caught the attention of the media.

In the educators’ circle, nooses, also referred to as ‘back-to-school necklaces,’ suggest that one would rather kill themselves than return to teaching after a school break.

However, as some suggested, posing with nooses is a racist act that shouldn’t go by unpunished.

“The integrity of the school is completely compromised. To the black community, a noose is a weapon, a symbol of slavery and lynching,” a former teacher and administrator, Shaka Phillipps, said in an interview with Yahoo Lifestyle.
