Judge Rae Lee Chabot said after the sentencing that nothing could’ve prevented her to sentence the special education teacher to less time in jail.

Chabot said: “It’s difficult for me to judge someone else’s behavior in this way but the law is very clear — and it applies to men and women the same.”

Then it was discovered that the teacher had sexually abused her victims in his own home. She “groomed her victims by drinking and smoking marijuana after school, and also plied one of the boys with Xanax,” the news outlet reported.
