President Donald Trump had a breath of relief as an appeals court in New York has ordered him and his accountant to give out the information for the past six years tax returns to provide all the information.
The recent decision given out by the judge of the appeals court has worked on freezing on the decision given out by a lower court’s judgment that had asked for compliance immediately along with a subpoena.
This would have thrown the reams of all the financial information into the hold of prosecutors.
A federal judge in New York had generated an order that asks Trump to submit his financial records and the tax payment information of the past 8 years to the court.
The court asked his accounting firm to comply with the information on the tax return with a subpoena that will ultimately give them a very clear record of the finances of Trump.
The judge said that the president’s lawyers made it very clear that Trump is not immune enough to take any prosecution as he has the biggest responsibility in the country on his shoulder of working as the president.
The judge said that this has to be kept in consideration.
Soon after the judge had passed the order, he said that the firm has until Monday evening to present on the record.
For now, Cy Vance’s office in Manhattan District Attorney is looking for all the information they can get on the case as they are investigating the matter.
This has been a part of the investigation where Michael Cohen, Donald Trump’s lawyer had pleaded guilty of paying a massive amount of money to Stormy Daniels, who is a porn star by her profession.
He convinced that he had to give her money to stay quiet and away from trump as they Trump and Stormy had an affair.The investigation will keep going until the judge gives out any ruling.
