You will hardly have any memories with that parent to help comfort you through the hardship. The best you will get is stories from other people which can often be hard as well.

Tragically, for this sweet girl Taliya Thomas, she lost her father at just 8 months old. Before she could even crawl she had to say goodbye to her father. Her father, Cruz Thomas a Franklin County Deputy Sheriff lost his life in a terrible car accident. Despite losing him at such a young age, Taliya has been told many stories by her aunt and paternal grandparents who remind her of the love and adoration he had for her.

We’re struggling to fight back the tears at how incredible this little girl is. I can only hope my children remember me like this little girl remembers her father.
