The 31-year-old dad is doing what he can to stop the stabbings and the violence threatening Britain over a rise in terrible attacks.

Faron Paul, who describes himself as a “daddy by day and a vigilante by night”, took the problem in his own hands and set up an informal knife amnesty.

He gives people vouchers as they hand their weapons over to him, which he then gives to the police.

Due to the rising number of attacks in recent weeks, Faron has been using Instagram as a way to reach out to knife carriers.

People can get in touch with him through social media and arrange a handover and he gives assurance of anonymity.

When Faron gives the knives to cops, he uses his own personal details, as a further method for those with blades to trust him.

While speaking to Sky News, Faron said, “Everybody wants to know why I do this – I do it because I have kids and I want them to live long and happy lives.”

“It’s dangerous work so I try to protect myself with a stab proof vest and I normally have a friend and my dog with me, too. But you never know.”

“But every time I take a knife off the street I am probably saving a life and stopping someone from going to jail.”

“To me that is worth the risk. I’m trying to help build a better future for the next generation and a situation where local communities don’t need to live in fear.”

He further added that young children wouldn’t want to go to a police station themselves and admit to carrying a weapon, so he works as the middle man for them.

The brave dad once fought an armed gang because he discovered one of them was carrying a “Rambo-style knife” at his niece’s 16th birthday party.
