A healthy and fit banker from Wales recently died at his home during practicing self-isolation as he showed Covid-19 symptoms.
The man refused to call an ambulance because he believed that they would be busy attending other people.
The banker, Tim Galley, who did not have any underlying health condition had to remain aloof from Donna Cuthbert who is his girlfriend after he became ill last Sunday.
His illness started with some tickle in his throat that he developed after visiting a stag do on Saturday. The U.K. has seen above 10,000 cases of coronavirus and more than 580 people have died due to the disease.
The forty-seven-year-old man decided to skip work on Monday and began developing fever, as confirmed by heartbroken forty-six-year-old Ms. Cuthbert.
She was unable to see her boyfriend because he decided to self-isolate and she confessed his messages to her grew less frequent.
Tim Galley’s dead body was taken away by paramedics wearing protective clothing from his Wrexham flat on Tuesday.
His girlfriend said that she was very stressed when Tim developed a fever because she was worried about the Covid-19. She added that because Tim wanted to protect her, she could not go and visit him.
The mother also added that as Tim was getting constantly worse, she asked him to call an ambulance but he insisted he was fine and had no underlying health conditions. He also said that they would be busier in dealing with other patients.
Ms. Cuthbert texted Tim who she was with for four years that she was worried because she would not be able to see him for several weeks, as Tim decided to self isolate. However, Tim reassured replying that she would surely see him.
