A suspicious girlfriend in a long distance relationship has hired her gym buddy to spy on and test her boyfriend only for her plan to backfire big time.
Lacking trust in her boyfriend, Alysha Bush decided to put her worries to the test by hiring a woman to try to seduce her boyfriend, Kourbine Lee. As it happens, however, her own plot became the downfall of their relationship.
Speaking to Buzzfeed about her feelings, the 23-year-old girl admitted that she became increasingly suspicious of her then boyfriend’s actions after she noticed him acting “distant” in her company.
“We were already so far apart, there was just lack of communication, we were subliminally trying to make each other jealous over social media,” Alysha said.
“I went to Vegas with him and his family friends and he was very distant from me, he was looking and kind of hitting on other girls in front of me in Vegas.”
To get to the bottom of the matter and see whether Lee could be trusted or not, Alysha hired Paula Contento, a girl who she used to go to the same gym with, to challenge his loyalty.
Paula agreed and later reported to Alysha saying her date with Kourbine was a success. Unsurprisingly, the 23-year-old immediately dumped her boyfriend and accused him of cheating on her. The story, however, didn’t end there.
After time, the pair appeared in Second Chance, Spanchat’s relationship show. In the show, Alysha begged her ex-boyfriend to admit that he was cheating on her. Despite her ‘proof,’ Kourbine maintained his innocence.
To spice things up, Paula also appeared in the show and repeated what she earlier told Alysha. Nevertheless, she spilled the truth after Lee confronted her and asked her why she would lie.
“I didn’t think that she deserved you, so I lied. Clearly, she doesn’t value the faithful, amazing man that you are. I thought, you know, maybe I have a chance,” Paula expressed.
While Paula may have had a hand in ending their relationship, it is clear that lack of trust was meant to end things for Alysha and Kourbine.
