Suspect Who K*lled Cop At Capitol Checkpoint Is Said To Have Suffered From Paranoia And Delusions


The suspect who had killed a police officer in an attack located at the Capitol had been known to have paranoia.

He recently slammed his car into two officers while at a barricade. After killing the cop from the accident, he had been shot to death, and U.S. officials told the Associated Press that the suspect had already been suffering from suicidal thoughts and delusions. The incident is heartbreaking on both ends.

Video footage of the accident has been released, revealing the driver with a brandished knife in his hand as he runs into the pair of officers he originally drove into. The suspect, Noah Green, had passed away at the hospital after being shot by police.

There are investigators on the case, revealing Green’s mental health was the main motive for the attack at the Capitol. Due to health concerns and medical privacy, this is the only information that will be disclosed.

Investigators are unable to speak publicly about the investigation that is still ongoing. They have found out about his mental stability through Green’s family, mentioning how his delusional thoughts had been increasing over time.

Green posted on social media platforms before, publicly announced that he was being watched through the government’s control. As a follower of the Nation of Islam, he spoke about how he had been going through a difficult time before discovering his faith. His messages had been captured by a group that tracks online activity.

He writes online, “I have been tried with some of the biggest, unimaginable tests in my life. I am currently now unemployed after I left my job partly due to afflictions, but ultimately, in search of a spiritual journey.”

Authorities at the Capitol installed a giant fence, increasing security measures ever since the first attack in January 6th. The police officer who had been killed was identified as William “Billy” Evans, and he was an 18 year old veteran part of the department’s first responders unit.

Learning about the attack, President Joe Biden states that he and his wife were heartbroken to learn of the attack, expressing their condolences to the family of the cop who passed away. Flags are lowered to half-staff in order to pay their respects.

The area was locked down for a few hours, but is now reopened with National Guard troops standing outside for security measures.
