S. was bit by a shark while surfing. And guess what he did? He went to the bar for drinks!

As bizarre as it sounds, seems like the surfer Frank O’Rourke is well aware of his priorities. He rescued himself and went for drinks to tell his tale of shark attack like everyone would if they survive such an attack.

Frank was surfing near a pier at Jacksonville Beach, Florida, around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday when a shark bit him on his elbow.

There have been a number of movies based on how fatal sharks can be; National Geographic WILD’s new show Cannibal Sharks shows images of huge ferocious predators biting each other into almost two. But luckily this man suffered only some damage.

There is a grainy footage that shows the twenty-three-years-old struggling with the fish. He was knocked off his surfing board but managed to escape and return to the shore. He inspected his wound and could not believe he got bit by the shark.

His friend, RJ Berger, who was present with him at that moment, said that Frank though it was a three to four foot blacktip or spinner shark. He also revealed that Frank got panicked and took a couple of seconds to realize what just happened.

Berger told that Frank was offered free drinks by the people so he decided to go to the bar immediately and hang out with the people telling his tale. Frank could have got better after getting stitches done but he preferred to booze rather than suffering from the painful needle piercing his skin.

Frank should grateful and feel lucky that nothing more than an elbow damage happened to him despite not getting any stitches or medical attention immediately.
