The most meddlesome time of the day is morning.
It is the time when kids are going to schools and parents have a lot of responsibility for them they have to look at their dressing bags and lunch as well.
Parents try their best to provide them with a good breakfast and pack their lunch with them. But after doing all this stuff they are still satisfied that teachers will take care of their kids at school.
But things get worse when parents come to know that teachers are not paying attention to kids.
One day a kid forgot to bring lunch money. Still, he became joyous to see that school was offering him a sandwich and now he will not have to stay hungry for the whole day.
But his joy turned into anguish when the worker who was handling lunch to the students chuckled because of the condition of the sandwich he was giving to that boy.
The sandwich which school gave him was topped with molds and was a few days old. Thanks to technology he captured the picture of that expired sandwich and sent it to his mother.
His mother Amy Whittaker did not tolerate the school’s action and she took action. She was of the view that her son was given expired moldy food just because he did not bring lunch money.
Amy perfectly utilized social media and spread her word that how her son forgot his lunch money and school authorities were too generous to give him a moldy peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
It was clearly visible from the condition of the sandwich that it was expired and was unhealthy as well as if consumed could cause health issues.
She persists that the mold was clearly visible and it was the mistake of the workers who handled this eatable to her son.
Her son was an elder kid so he recognized it but if this mistake were eaten by a young child he would have faced severe health issues.
She added those pictures to aware of the Avon Community School Corporation of this grieve matter. They apologized and ensured not to repeat this matter again.
Amy however, asked parents to provide their kids with enough edible material and lunch money so that they do no face this kind of episode and may not get a chance to ingest expired food.
