18-Year-Old Student Dies In His Mom’s Arms After Getting Stabbed While Trying To Protect His Family

An 18-year-old aspiring law student has tragically passed away while trying to protect his family from thieves.

The heartbreaking incident took place in Leyton, London, where 18-year-old Hussain Ahmed Chaudhry, who was selling designer clothes online, got stabbed during an altercation outside his family home.

According to the reports, a group of burglars launched an attack on the young man’s family and cut his brother and mother with knives in the process.

While trying to protect his family from getting killed by the thieves who were after his designer clothes, Hussain was fatally stabbed.

“We’ve lost our baby and no pain will compare. The sunshine of my life. My youngest brother, Hussain,” the boy’s heartbroken sister, Afia, wrote in a tribute to her brother.

“You radiated light & never had anything but a smile adorning your face. You studied well, loved well, prayed well. Fly with green birds, my martyr. Meet me by at the gates of Jannah, will you? I’ll wait to your familiar face.”

According to Hussain’s family, the 18-year-old started reselling designer clothes online to make some money. As the police believe, however, his latest deal was hijacked by thieves who wanted to get their hands on luxury items free of charge.

“He [Hussain] would buy designer stuff and resell it – he’s been doing it since college. Someone called him and told him he was going to buy a jacket, but then they tried to steal it,” a close friend of the deceased student said.

“One of them ran through the front door and the other ran out the kitchen window. I think one of their shoes fell off and one of them dropped their phone.”

Speaking of the heart-wrenching attack, Detective Chief Inspector Perry Benton urged anyone with information related to the case to immediately contact the authorities.

“A young man has lost his life in tragic circumstances and my thoughts are with his family and friends at this awful time,” he expressed after the incident.

“The attack happened on a busy road during rush-hour and I know there would have been lots of vehicles passing at the time of the incident.”

As Detective Superintendent Paul Whiteman added, the police are determined to solve the case and capture the murderers.

“We remain committed to tackling violent crime and we are working with a number of partners to help us prevent another tragic loss of life,” he said.

“You will see extra officers in the area this week and they will be using a range of tactics to target those who choose to put others in danger by carrying a knife.”
