Chris and his wife Taylor Fisher took their son, Oliver, to Disney World.
They were strolling around when they decided to stop at the Eiffel Tower for a photo.
A couple then noticed them and offered to take a photo of the family with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
Like most children, Oliver was not cooperating with the session but the couple patiently waited for the boy to look at the camera.
After getting a great photo, they eventually parted ways. But the couple who took a photo of them found the family moments later.
The man, named Scott, introduced himself and his wife, Sally. With tears in his eyes, Scott promised the family that he was not ‘creepy’ but he just had one request.
He explained that he and Sally had four children. Three of them were also in the park with their grandparents but their fourth child, Duke, was celebrating his first birthday in heaven.
As the couple grieved the loss of Duke, they couldn’t help but see him in baby Oliver. They asked the family if they could take him on a shopping spree at Mouse Gear gift shop.
Taylor Fisher admitted that it would be strange to let strangers take their child on a shopping spree. However, she felt peace from God that she should let the couple do it just one time.
“Through an act of their own generosity, I witnessed a couple begin to heal from the grief and ache of [losing] something so dear. After they bought him way [too] many toys, we all stopped in the middle of the store…
“God’s presence was so real and we worshiped and praised him for his ultimate design, for it was only God who could have brought us together,” Taylor wrote.
Sally also shared that she had been praying for closer before they ran into little Oliver. Holding the child’s hand and watching him happy with the presents was her gift from God that let her feel like she could finally heal.
