We don’t want to freak you out but we just HAD to share this almost unbelievable story about what a mom found in her attic.
Don’t worry, it all has a happy ending but you’re going to be blown away by what Tracey, a South Carolina mother, discovered when she heard strange noises from the crawl space upstairs.
Soon after putting her children to bed she heard strange thumping noises coming from the attic and then—the nails started popping out of the ceiling! She assumed it was a trapped animal, but to be on the safe side she called her older nephew and her adult son over to help her investigate.

They didn’t find a raccoon or a lost cat, instead they encountered something that’ll haunt them forever…a man secretly living in the attic wedged in between the heating unit!! Worse yet, Tracey knew him…he was someone she’d briefly dated after she had hired him to do some work on her house.
He rushed past them out of the house and they called 911. It seems that he’d been living up there for about 2 weeks and had somehow snuck into the house and up into the attic.
Everybody is safe and sound and police know the suspect and are looking for him now but this is still a terrifying story! We’re so happy it all worked out, and we hope we don’t ruin your sleep tonight when you hear some bump or bang as you try to drift off.
