After the staff told the couple they can’t allow stockpiling to this extent, the man and the woman became enraged and accused the workers of misinforming them.

“A straight up lie. What a liar! You’re such a liar. … You just told me right now that I could go outside and come back in and get the drinks,” the man said in a video taken by another shopper after returning to the store to buy more drinks after dropping off the first load.

After the cashier informed him they were only allowed to take out two more boxes of Mountain Dew, the man pushed the cart forward whereas his partner threw two of the boxes back onto the counter.

“She was pushed to the ground and then stood on by adults who had no care in the world for a child on the floor,” the mother explained.

“People were walking over her while she was crying on the ground just to get what they wanted.”

As the upset mother added, she had to take her daughter to the hospital for a scan because her knee was injured during the incident.

“I am shocked at how people were acting this morning even before the doors opened. People pushing, people telling people to get back in line,” she added.
