A Starbucks customer got the shock of her life when she saw a ‘secret message’ on her cup written by the barista.
Ashley Wilkins says she was at Starbucks when a barista took the chance to profess his love for her in a very clever way.
Wilkins then took to social media to share the sweet romance, showing the ‘secret message’ left by the cheeky server.
In the video she posted online, she shows the coffee up which has a note ‘SECRETE MESSAGE’ and an arrow pointing down to the bottom where the warning message can be seen.
Wilkins spins the cup and she shows how the server blocked some of the words of the warning so that it reads: “Careful, you’re extremely hot.”
Even though many of her followers mentioned that the lover boy had spelt ‘secret’ wrong, Wilkins did not let it put her off.
“I didn’t even realise it was spelled wrong cause I was just (mind-blown emoji),” she expressed.
One person commented: “All that precision drawing and effort is awesome! He does deserve a date if you’re single.”
Wilkins then replied: “I’m actually married, funny part is my husband was there with me.”
This is not the first time a Starbucks customer has claimed a server has made use of the warning message to flirt with customers.
A father accused staff of leaving the ‘inappropriate message’ on his daughter’s coffee cup.
One person commented: “Creepy and inappropriate, I hate that they want to know your name anyway, other cafes manage without that.”
Another wrote: “Even if it DID happen it would be creepy sexual harassment.”
