Starbucks Asked the Cops to Vacate the Premises Based On One Customer’s Unusual Concerns


Have you ever heard of police officers being thrown away from one of the famous coffee shops in the US? Yes, we are talking about the famous brand Starbucks that chucked several police officers out of their shop in order to make their customers feel safe.

Apparently, the officers were asked to leave the premises based on the complaints from the customers.

The police officers who were about to start their duty were sipping coffee when this incident took place and it is pretty strange to know how the Barista team took the customers complaint on a serious note and asked the police officers to vacate the place.

One of the customer at the coffee shop reported of being unsafe with the officers around and that’s when exactly the incident took place.

According to Fox News, the police officers were just lingering around the store sipping coffee before their shift when the coffee shop people asked them to vacate the place based on the customer’s complaint.

The police officers from Arizona mad e a hue and cry about the incident through their Tempe Officers Association on Twitter and took Starbucks for a ride. They attached a logo of Starbucks describing the incident completely and the image was customized to read “Dump Starbucks”.

The union did not fail to mention how ridiculous it was for Starbucks to ask the cops to vacate the premises even without knowing that they were the veterans that fought for the nation.

The incident had taken place on one of the important days in the history of the USA and this was also one of the reasons for the union to flare about Starbucks.

They said openly about how the Starbucks stopped and asked the Tempe cops to vacate especially on the Independence Day.

Located in the Scottsdale Road the Starbucks had made it a point to stop the police officers who were just standing and enjoying over a cup of coffee before their shift commenced on the July 4th.

The barista made it a point to call one of the police officers by his name as he was a regular customer at the coffee shop.

The barista told how the customer felt unsafe due to the presence of the cops and asked the police officers to at once leave the premises. The rude behavior of the barista made the police officers to leave the premises with great disappointment.

Requests like these have become pretty common in the year 2019 and despite the barista sounded polite it is not a great thing to treat cops like that as it was pretty offensive.

President Rob Ferraro said that he was totally taken aback by the behavior of Starbucks towards the cops who are dedicated to protect them.

Well, it’s quite surprising to see how people can feel unsafe around those that have promised to serve their lives for the nation, said Rob Ferraro.

Starbucks, in return released a statement which spoke about their respect towards the Tempe Police Department and they are also investigating on the issue.

They also mentioned that they are trying to understand the issue in detail and have also sought apologies to the Tempe Police officers for all the misunderstanding that might have occurred.
