Spanish football coach Francisco Garcia lost his life to the coronavirus at 21 years of age.
Francisco was working as a coach at Malaga-based Atletico Portada Alta. He was rushed to the hospital after he showed severe symptoms of the virus. He was then diagnosed with leukemia along with covid-19.
He caught the coronavirus before being diagnosed with leukemia. The infection then took his life at just 21 years of age.
Since the coronavirus outbreak has found its way to Spain, almost 300 people have died.
Francisco lived in Malaga and was the 5th person to die from the virus in the region. By far he is the youngest person to die in the entire country with others being in their 70s and 80s. He is also one of the youngest people to die in the world too.
Doctors only found out about his leukemia after he had arrived at the hospital. It is said that his ability to fight the virus was affected by his existing condition.
The health experts have said that if he had not been suffering from leukemia already, he would have recovered and survived.
The stats coming from Spain says 8,744 people have been tested positive by now. The reports say 297 people have died of the virus till now.
The world is running to safeguard. After China, Italy is under a complete lockdown. Several countries along with France is witnessing closing down of cinemas, schools, universities, pubs, restaurants, and many other crowded public places.
Pepe Bueno’s president Portada Alta said Francisco was a hero and a legend. He is heartbroken with their sudden loss and will always remember. He also said he has no idea how will they do without him.
