As you can see, our first riddle is very short. That, however, doesn’t mean that it’s easy, whereas most people struggle to answer it or elaborate on their conclusion.
The riddle reads: “Who is closer to the kids – Mom or dad?”
Your job is simple, you have to find out who is always closer to the kids. Since you can only pick between mom and dad, however, things may get a bit awkward!
So who do you think is closer to the kids? Remember, the question is tricky so think carefully before you answer.

The correct answer is mom! Why? Because dad is father (fa-r-ther).

Any ideas yet? Here’s a hint. The mother is talking about fruit. While you can eat the fruit, you can also drink it because there’s juice inside. Furthermore, you could use its shell to start a fire!
