Rapper Snoop Dogg has revealed to millions of fans on social media how his mother Beverly Tate has died at the age of 70.
The grief-stricken superstar gathered the courage to announce the tragic news to millions of his followers on the social media platform Instagram, where he just couldn’t hold back his emotions.
“Thank you, God, for giving me an angel for a mother. Till we meet again soon,”- were the words mentioned in the heartbreaking post on the star’s account.
Posting a heartfelt and memorable image of him with his late mother, Snoop requested his 65 million followers to please remember his mother and the entire family in prayers as this was a very difficult time for them all and they needed prayers most.
Beverly Tate’s death was also recently confirmed by Snoop Dog’s 71-year-old father Vernell Vardado who also requested the world to pray for their loss and remember the family during this difficult time.
Beverly had two more sons with Vernell. She was reportedly hospitalized in the month of July of this year but the exact reason for her illness was not disclosed or shared with the public, confirmed reports.
In the month of May, Snoop Dogg requested his fans, as well as followers, present on social media to pray for his mother because she was not well.
Snoop Dogg whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr shared more images of Beverly happy and healthy while beaming with a giant smile with Snoop by her side. The star was known to be very close to her, embracing her tightly for a hug.
In addition to that image, Snoop shared another heart-touching picture of Beverly in a red-toned hat and matching red dress while holding flowers.
After the news was shared online, thousands of tributes began pouring in for the family, right after the rapper revealed how he was being tested during this very difficult time.
