A woman who has just moved countries has returned to her home abroad only to find a creepy crawly decorating her Christmas tree.
As Leanne Chapman from Australia revealed, she came back home only to discover that a giant, three-meter python had moved into her house while she was gone.
“We got home from work and there’s a couple of butcher birds that visit every day and they were just kicking off on the balcony, going crazy,” the woman said in an interview with 7 News.
As she admitted, she was shocked to her bones after seeing the massive snake nicely curled up on the Christmas tree.
According to Leanne, the python didn’t mind her presence and stayed still as she and her husband recorded it.
“It was actually quite nice to see it that close up because I’ve never seen anything like it before,” she added after explaining this was her first Christmas in Australia.
As the family explained, the snake left on its own later that evening at around 10.30 pm.
In another snakecident, a man caught a snake performing an Oscar-worthy performance by twisting and rotating dramatically as it pretended to be dead.
The snake’s cunning display of drama followed moments after Kenneth Gisi found it being confronted by a much larger feral cat.
After the man shooed the predator away and gently touched the snake, the reptile began twisting and rotating uncontrollably as if it was dying from horrific pain. On top of the exaggerated movements, the snake also started emitting a strong odor.
“I was just coming home from the store and, while I was walking down my driveway, I noticed a feral cat in the tall grass staring down at the ground intensely,” Texas-based Kenneth explained according to the Mirror.
“I had a feeling that this cat had found a snake so I went to investigate. Sure enough, it was this Hognose. I was extremely happy that I got to save it from the cat and got to experience this beautiful creature.”
