Sloths are known for their slow-motion activities, but recently a sloth waved his hand and smiled back at the man who saved his life by rescuing him from the road.
Jose Aldenizio, who is 50 years old, is an animal lover, and when he saw a sloth crossing the street in Rio de Janeiro during rush hour, he picked up the sloth and rescued him.
Jose’s daughter, Gabrielle Araujo who is 21 years old, captured the whole scenario in her phone and posted it on social media.
The traffic was getting really heavy, and that’s when Jose came in stopped the traffic for a while so that he can pick up the sloth and rescue it. He safely puts the sloth on a tree and waits till the time he gets hold of the branches.
After placing the animal safely on the tree, he waved at it, and the sloth slowly lifted his hand to wave back while passing a smile for the helpful man.
It’s incredible how these animals have their own way of expressing gratitude towards the helpful humans.
Gabrielle is studying veterinary medicine, so she knows how a small gesture of help can make the animal happy towards humans.
She claims that she is proud of her father as he is so tender and gentle towards all the animals. All the animals deserve the same respect and right to life, just like humans.
