There have been only five heavy metal albums to top the U.K. album chart since 2000. The last time a heavy metal album topped the chart was four years ago.

In 2015, Iron Maiden’s The Book of Souls found the top spot. Iron Maiden’s The Book of Souls and The Final Frountier, Avenged Sevenfold’s Hail To The King, and Black Sabbath’s 2013 album are the only five heavy metal albums that have topped the U.K. charts

The attendees spent nearly £200 per ticket for the rock festival but had to leave the festival at Donington Park in Leicestershire after the whole area was left sloppy and soaked.

The Download Festival was dubbed as ‘Brownload festival’ after the rain created a muddy mess. Seems like booking tickets to a festival in the U.K. is risky even in the middle of June.

A  person tweeted that despite them being caked in mud, they had a cracking time. Those who chose to stay saw Slipknot, Def Leppard, and Tool rocking the main stage while Slash, Smashing Pumpkins, and Die Antwood also performed.
