BBC uploaded a video of British Defense Secretary Gavin Williamson (42) was addressing the UK parliament on matters, fight against the Islamic State. In his speech, he happened to mention Syria, and immediately Siri answered from his iPhone.
Williamson was addressing matter on the fight against the Islamic State.
When he mentioned Syria, Siri from his iPhone suddenly answered back.
The Syria-Siri incident can be seen in the video below.
It was because when the word “Syria” sounded similar to “Hey, Siri” which happens to call up Siri in iPhone.
Williamson took his phone out of his jacket pocket and turned it off.
“It is very rare that you’re heckled by your own mobile phone,” said Williamson after putting back his iPhone into his pocket.
