Brooklyn and Kadan Rockett, 13 and 15, were detained in Louisiana after they failed to obey police officers, who were trying to take them to their mother.

The teens, who were semi-finalists on the 2016 season of AGT, refused to leave their dad amid a bitter custody battle.

The children have been living with their father, Bart, in California for years but they went back to Louisiana for their grandma’s funeral, TMZ reported.

However, the siblings were handcuffed as they pleaded with officers not to be separated from their dad.

One of the cops can be heard in the video saying: “You do not have a choice, this is nothing to argue about. You have to go with us. Let’s go.”

As Brooklyn cried at the thought of leaving their father, Kadan can be heard saying: “I’m afraid.”

The cops placed the siblings in handcuffs and said they were only following court orders.

The next day, the teens appeared before a judge, who eventually let them go back to their father.

“My ‘babies’ are FREE and SAFE!!!! I am not allowed to post any court details at this time because of a gag order but I can tell you they are free and safe!!!” Bart wrote on Facebook.

“Thank you, thank you, thank you for all the prayers and support!!!! We can never say thanks enough. I have tears in my eyes trying to type this. It appears this lengthy nightmare may just be over,” he added.

One person commented: “There is probably a reason they dont want to go back to the mother; how awful to traumatize them further with arrest! Glad they are back with their dad.”

Another wrote: “Totally cruel and illegal. The custody court order applies to the parents. A child can’t violate a divorce court order. This would never happen in California.”
