Here Is How You Can Shrink Your Pores

Pores are small openings in the skin that release oils and sweat.

They work to eliminate toxins in our bodies. But pores can get blocked or enlarged and when they do, it might be because of acne, increased sebum production causing oily skin, sun damage, and non-comedogenic makeup.

Clogged pores or an oily complexion can make pores look larger. The truth is you can not change the size of your pores but there are some ways to minimize those pores to make your skin looks smooth again.

1. Plain Yogurt

Apply yogurt to the skin as it contains natural antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. The lactic acid in yogurt will help dissolve dead skin and tighten pores. It also helps to pull dirt and excessive oil from your pores.

2. Ice

You can apply ice also on your face to tighten your pores. Wrap a few ice cubes in a clean cloth and hold it on your face for 15-20 seconds. This will help to shrink the size of the pores and also increase blood circulation.

3. Baking Soda

Baking soda helps constrict pores and prevent future breakouts. You need to make a paste with two teaspoons of baking soda mixed with water. Massage paste into pores gently for about 30 seconds and rinse off using cool water.

It doesn’t only remove dead skin cells and buildup in the pores, but baking soda also works to neutralize the pH level of your skin.

Note: Make sure your hands are clean before you try any of the remedy mentioned above. If you have a habit of touching and picking your face then abstain from it as this will worsen the problem. You should also refrain from exposing your skin to the sun for an extended period of time as too much sun can harm your collagen.
