Here is the good news we had all been waiting for, I know you would have probably heard that a Christmas special episode of The Gavin And Stacey is coming out soon but yes, there was no confirmation.
But guess what, it has been confirmed now as the shoot of the special episode has begun in Wales.
The sitcom that has won Bafta, has the story of a man that belongs to Essex and a girl that belongs to South Wales. Apparently, the last time ever this show was aired in the UK was back in 2010.
Since then no new episode has been made or telecasted in the UK. But now, the news is out, one special episode of the show is coming out for all of us this Christmas and we are more than excited.
James Cordon had announced the news in a discussion in May but of course, until and unless the show starts rolling in the cameras, there is no surety.
James announced on Twitter about the show and said that yes he would be coming back as his character along with Joanna Page, with Matthew Horne and Smithy.
And yes, Rob Brydon is also coming back in his character Uncle Bryn.
The news of the shoot came out as the locals noticed Christmas decoration at the house where Stacy from the show lives. This implies that the show is on the role because who would use Christmas decoration on such an odd time.
A local café owner in the town said “If I had to express how happy I am, I would have been doing cartwheels here. The show is coming back and I cannot be happier about anything else right now. This is the best news I have heard in a very long while.
