Parenting is undoubtedly the toughest job in the world. Anyone can play with files and numbers but making a child turn into a person is a big deal.
A little mistake and puff, all your efforts can go down the drain and the child can come out as the evilest person alive or the most manner less one.
But you know you did a great job when your child takes pride in helping others by making efforts and find happiness in making other people happy.
This is the same thing happened to the young Claire’s parents. Claire is a little girl who is just 5 years old.
She took part in her school concert for the Christmas event where the little girl was supposed to sing a Christmas song along with a few other kids from school. For the event, parents were called to be the audience and Claire’s parents were coming too.
But there was a problem. Claire’s mother and father both were deaf, that means they both could not hear what she was going to sing. To encourage their daughter, both of them were present there but it would have been a shame if they were not able to understand what she was actually singing on the stage.
Understanding the rage that her parents must be going through, little Claire found out a way to make it right. While she was on stage, she suddenly started using American sign language to explain to her parents what she was singing.
Claire and her sister both could speak and listen but because their parents couldn’t, they learned the American sign language at a very young age. She knew the language very well. So when it came to explain the song and let her parents be a part of the audience, she did the best she could.
The room was filled with people who noticed what was going on. When people realized what the little girl was doing for her parents, everyone was touched. They knew that the little girl had a great heart and she loved her parents too much to care about anything else.
