Someone has said this right and for this mother of three, it proves to be exactly true as she wins £1m just 10 minutes after she received the news that she has beaten cancer and has a healthy life in front of her to live with all the happiness in the world.
Wasn’t it like the luckiest day a person can have in the world?
New Tredegar in South Wales’s Citizen Lynne Price, 55, who works in a laundry, took a two-hour long bath to get both the massive news in her system.
Lynne had opened the letter saying she has beaten cancer. This news itself was too huge for her to take and without wasting any more time, another massive news bumped in.
Her husband came rushing from work and told her that they have just won £1m. Yes, it was the luckiest day she could have.
Two such extravagantly huge news shook her from inside and she did not know how to accept what has just happened.
She says “I was there at my house reading the letter that had arrived from the doctors saying I am finally free of cancer.
That is when my husband arrived and told me that we have one £1m in a lottery.
My mind was not working. It was all so huge so I went to the bathroom, filled the tub and just lay there for 2 long hours soaking my body in and grasping everything.
It was just so much happening all at once and I needed to give a break to my mind. It was the best day of my life and I am so glad it happened.”
