US Former president Jimmy Carter is not having the best time of the world right now as he has been admitted to Atlanta’s hospital as he is undergoing a procedure to reduce down pressure from his brain that he has suffered after the head injuries he had because of a few falls.
The Carter Center said that the 95 years former president was hospitalized on Monday.
The Carter Center said that after he had fallen he suffered a few head injuries that kept on bleeding and has created pressure on his brain.
To cure the same he was hospitalized to Emory University Hospital on Monday and the procedure to make him stable is scheduled to take place on Tuesday.
It said, “President Carter is comfortable and resting in the hospital with his wife Rosalynn by his side. He is safe and alright.”
He had a fall in October where he had broken his pelvis after a fracture and this fall had caused the injuries in his head.
Earlier in October, he had suffered another fall that had hit him in the head directly but despite the injury, he showed up to volunteer at the Habitat for Humanity with a bandage covering 14 stitches and a black eye.
Carter is 95 years old and he is the oldest living president the nation has ever seen.
Carter was a democrat who was United States’ 039th president, and he served his term starting from 1977 until 1981.
For his dedication towards the society and betterment of people of the nation, Carter received the most honorable award, the Nobel Peace Prize in the year 2002 for his dedication and uninterrupted humanitarian work over the years. Also, he was a believer and a regular to church and religion was his motivation.
