Sickening Moment 74-Year-Old Man Is Pushed Into Freezing River By A Gang Of Teen Schoolboys

An elderly man was pushed into a freezing-cold river by a 15-year-old schoolboy as his friends recorded the act and laughed at the senior.

The infuriating moment took place in Warrington, England, where a 74-year-old pensioner was standing still on the banks of the River Mersey when he was approached by a group of teenagers.

As seen in footage taken by the group, one of the teens charged at the man from behind his back before jump-kicking the senior and causing him to fall into the cold river.

After laughing at the man, who suffered a cut to his head during the fall, the cowardly group ran away, leaving the senior at risk of losing his life.

Fortunately, the senior was spotted by two teenage girls who pulled him out of the river after witnessing the horrible attack.

“This was a shocking and upsetting incident which has understandably left the gentleman shaken,” Warrington Local Policing Unit’s Sergeant Mark Spaven said of the incident.

“He returned home freezing cold and had sustained a cut to his face due to banging his head as he fell into the water.

“We are determined to find those responsible and I am urging anyone who has any information or believes they know who did this to come forward.

“I also want to appeal to the two women who thankfully came to his rescue to please get in touch with us as you could have information which could help our investigation.”

Since the assault, the police reportedly arrested a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of assaulting the elderly man by pushing him into the river.
