If you pass one of Braga’s recent 3D street art, you would definitely notice and stop to look at the marvelous piece.
The extremely talented 33-year-old French street artist from Marseille has the ability to confuse as well as deceive the eyes of people with his incredible designs.
Tom Bragado Blanco a.k.a Braga recently made an interesting artwork, which is of a giant sphynx feline blended with the surroundings.
The sphynx cat, which is native to Canada, is a cat breed that has a distinctive feature of not having any fur on its body.
In the artwork of Blanco, the cat plays a crucial role in creating an optical illusion. Braga took an extremely unusual approach and chose an old tank as his canvas.
After Braga finished his incredible creation, the gas tanks became unnoticeable and looked like a 3D painting. And in the end, you get to see a huge gray sphynx cat that is hiding in the grass.
Braga has been painting since his childhood and is a self-taught artist.
Because he is extremely passionate about street art, Blanco began his career by making customized t-shirts, caps, and sneakers.
Later, he received numerous individual orders like Trompe-l’oeil in public places, frescoes for children’s rooms, etc. He has also created stunning artworks for various theatres, hotels, businesses, and restaurants.
For street art, this artist uses a technique known as aerography that he had learned in 2011. The technique is a method in which stencils are not used in spray-painting but are replaced by a 3D objects.
Aerography is mostly employed to decorate tiles in the Victorian era as well as in Man Ray’s works. However, Braga has adapted the stunning technique to create his unique artworks.
