“We really wanted to break the wedding rules so everyone would have space to have fun and be themselves.”

She added: “We ‘Start’ed by giving a dress code of ‘1920s disco ball goes to the beach,’ which basically meant: be fun, be fabulous, be colorful, be shiny, be awesome.

“We wanted to get rid of the fear of outshining anyone — and our friends definitely brought it!”

After the official proceedings of the wedding, the newlyweds performed a New-Orleans-style parade, led by friends of the couple, having musical abilities ranging from amateurs to “Grammy winner.”

The parade was succeeded by a reception held in a large 1920’s ballroom of the iconic Catalina Casino.

The bride’s attire consisted of a made-to-order skirt/top combination designed by Kyha, an Australian designer, while the groom was dressed in a silk and linen white suit with grey stripes.

The marriage ceremony was undoubtedly the main event but Natasha, Sean, and all their guests celebrated and enjoyed the whole weekend with an assortment of fun activities, ranging from welcome drinks to yoga.

“Ultimately, encouraging our loved ones to be creative is what made it feel so joyful for us,” Sean said. “I try not to use the word ‘perfect’ too often, but damn if it wasn’t really close.”

“We are creative and playful and so are our friends and family, and we wanted to make that a big part of our wedding,” Natasha added.
