From courage to confidence, the woman of today should possess everything that takes to be strong and independent in this world.

Serena, 21 years old, is the only girl child of Kristy and her husband. The couple already had two boys, and they were excited to welcome Serena after a few years.

Being the only sister to two elder brothers, Serena never thought she was incapable of doing anything that her brother can.

Both Kristy and Dave have an ardent love towards scuba diving, and it is quite natural to rub that loved for diving on their kids.

Serena was 13 when she first made her dive and was certified as open water diver. Since then, she has conquered every milestone by diving in lakes, rivers, and oceans.

Serena gas dived in Mexico, Cayman Islands, Ontario, Belize, and Cuba. She has swum with whale sharks, stingrays, sea turtles.

She shares the same passion for scuba diving as her mother, Kristy. It would be quite befuddling to know who is more passionate about scuba diving; mother or the daughter.

On her 21st birthday, Kristy thought of doing something that will be a memorable gift for her daughter. She planned a family gets together at Float n’ Flag Dive Centre in Burlington that involves diving along the fastest current on the Niagara.

Kristy knew that it would be one significant milestone in her daughter’s scuba diving career. The adventure will not only be fun for the family, but it will get the PADI certification and new skills of diving along the currents of Niagara.
