Marc Ely, owner of Ely Scaffolding company in Rochford, Essex, wasn’t receiving any workable projects due to the pandemic.

So, in order to make money during the lockdown, the talented man decided to use his skills and build people whatever they wanted in their homes.

Speaking about his first customer Jordan, Marc told LADbible: “I do know Jordan a bit, but he just called me up and asked me if I could do it, and I did.

“Then, once I’d started to build it I got the buzz for it and made it into what it is.”

Marc built a mind-blowing workout structure in Jordan’s garden that can be used for any fitness exercise.

He said: “It’s all just my scaffolding material, with the exception of the car tires. I’ve used scaffolding tubes and fitting, a rope and a wheel, but other than the car tires it’s all scaffolding.”

Marc will be providing his services throughout the London and Essex while maintaining social distancing rules.

For now, he has priced his services at £400 ($491). But clients will also have to pay VAT and rent for the equipment used.

Speaking of the need of a proper exercise and training space in one’s home during quarantine, Marc said: “The idea was that everything would be over [with regards to the lockdown] by the time the four weeks was up, but it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen.”

Jordan loved the gym that Marc built for him.

Explaining how perfectly the installation had been done, the happy client said: “The gym is fantastic during this difficult time, I use it twice a day!

“It’s got a incline bench that can be used as a flat bench, a dip bar, squat rack, pull up bar, and tricep cable pull-down machine.

“It’s lovely to be outside in this weather.

“It’s great. I never expected to be able to work out this well at home until I thought of the idea of getting a scaffolder to make me a gym.”

As soon as Marc’s project was shared on social media, he started receiving offers from multiple people.

He said: “I’ve got another one this week, but it’s not as big [as the one he built for Jordan]. Just a squat rack, a dip bar, and some leg equipment.”

The scaffolder is now building an amazing castle in his back garden so that his daughters can enjoy playing there.
