There are many people who got intimidated by seeing a small dog killed the other dog to death in Melbourne earlier this week.
A woman having three dogs went out of the property before taking them for a walk to Parkenham. One of the dogs got to leashed Staffy that was also on a stroll.
The staffy who is also called as Hero was accused for abusing the other dog named Dachshund which is also called as Coco. Staffy killed Dachshund to death.
The master of the Staffy dog defended his dog and claimed that his dog was trying to save his life from the other dog and it is not right to blame this dog for doing nothing.
The investigation is being carried out rigorously by the local council.
However, there is an online campaign that is run to save Staffy. This campaign has received a massive number of followers. Emma McLean has filed a petition on change.org.
This petition was filed 11 hours ago and it has received around 100,000 signatures. In this petition, it is clear that the main aim is to protect Staffy from being killed by Cardinia council.
Though, it is a tragic incident, but Staffy cannot be considered as an instigator.
The CCTV recording clearly shows the footage of what exactly had happened. The witness who is watching the incident has clearly stated that it is not at all the fault of the owner or the dog in this case.
The hero was trying to save himself and his family from the other three dogs that were attacking on it.
This issue started when Kashila Chintamunnee accused the owner of the dog, Claudia Harrison for allowing the dogs to go out and maul over Coco for around 10 minutes. However, Harrison has challenged what the other dog owner was saying and defended for Hero.
In the statement, it is clear that when she took the dog for a walk, the large dog started to bark at him. It was impossible to keep my dog away from the other dogs. Chintamunnee stated that she went to the council and police and reported that Staffy is not safe to be in the public.
